Shaving 101

I have taken up the long lost art of shaving my facial hair, as of late.

I have never liked shaving. It takes took too long, it's messy.

I let my facial hair get to the point where my wife says " oooh I love your sexy gruff". And then go beyond to the point where I look like I'm about to start howling at the moon.

My beard never grows in as thick as I would hope. Patchy blonde with hints of red and black. And takes too long to fill in to the lumberjack look. So By this time I need to find the electric razor to mow through the brush , however the electric razor never really shaves my face completely smooth.

But lately, I have been giving it another go.

My new tactic is to mow through the brush with the electric razor. Then rinse my face with hot water. This makes my face feel like it's opening up. Then I have been using foam shaving cream. The drug store brand. I have been using a brand named gel product and I believe this was another reason why I hated shaving in the first place. So the foam cream is easily applied and easily removed. Then shave with my Mach 3. Leaving water in the sink to swish the razor after every swipe removes all hair from blades. Then when finished I rinse my face with cold water and my face feels amazing. I think this still takes about 15 minutes but It's worth it.

And done.

I think I will try to start doing this on a somewhat regular basis.
